Cele trei producții au fost nominalizate la categoria cel
mai bun film alături de producţiile „1917” de Sam Mendes şi de filmul
sud-coreean „Parasite”.

Nominalizările de anul acesta nu sunt lipsite de controverse,
chiar șefa BAFTA, Amanda Berry, s-a declarat „foarte dezamăgită” de
lipsa de diversitate în condițiile toți nominalizații de anul acesta sunt albi.

Interesant la nominalizările de anul acesta este faptul că Margot Robbie este nominalizată de două ori la categoria cea mai bună actriţă în rol secundar cu producţiile „Bombshell” şi „Once Upon A Time…In Hollywood„.

Și Scarlett Johansson are două nominalizări, una la
categoria cea mai bună actriță în rol secundar pentru rolul din „Jojo
Rabbit” și una la categoria cea mai bună actriţă în rol principal cu drama
Netflix „Marriage Story”.

Gala de decernare a premiilor BAFTA va avea loc la 2
februarie la Royal Albert Hall din Londra şi vor fi prezentate de Graham
Norton.
