Fotbalistul echipei Manchester United, Wayne Rooney, a fost ales cel mai urat sportiv al tuturor timpurilor, iar David Beckham, cel mai sexy, in urma unui sondaj de opinie realizat de agentia britanica Onepool, la care au participat 4.000 de femei pasionate de sport. Dintre acestea, 34%  l-au votat pe Rooney ca fiind cel mai urat sportiv. Fostul fotbalist Peter Beardsley, clasat pe locul doi, a fost votat de 12% din participantele la sondaj. Pe pozitia a treia se afla brazilianul Ronaldinho.
